• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.

2. Using Leihmir

• Lenders can list items they own for rental.
• Renters can browse and rent items for agreed periods.
• You agree to return rented items in the same condition and on time.

3. Payments & Payouts

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Renters are charged when a rental is confirmed.
• Lenders receive payouts automatically via Stripe after the item has been marked as returned.
• Leihmir deducts a service commission on each transaction.

4. Deposits & Coverage

• Some items may require a deposit, which is collected at checkout.
• If an item is covered by Leihmir Coverage (subscription/insurance), no deposit is required.
• Deposits may be withheld in cases of damage, loss, or disputes.

5. Disputes & Damages

• If an item is returned damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, the Lender can file a dispute.
• Supporting evidence (e.g., photos) may be required.
• Deposits may be used to compensate the Lender.
• Leihmir reserves the right to make the final decision in disputes.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• List illegal, unsafe, or restricted items.
• Use Leihmir for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Misrepresent an item's condition or ownership.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

• Leihmir may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Users remain responsible for obligations (including pending rentals or payments) at the time of suspension.

8. Liability Disclaimer

• Leihmir facilitates rentals but does not own or inspect items listed.
• Lenders are responsible for ensuring items are safe and lawful.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leihmir is not liable for damages, losses, or disputes between users.
